摘要：Interest in the Finnish Rural party (FRP) increased after the elections of 1970, when this formerly diminutive party achieved the great success. FRP is a typical populist movement like Poujadism in France with its propaganda directed to the common people.This article aims to seek the causes of the support of FRP in areas smaller than communes. In explaining this support are used the methods of ecological correlations and regression analysis, chorological analysis and small group analysis. In addition the diffusion theory of innovation is used explaining the areal support of FRP.
