Comunicação produtiva inclui postura/linguagem corporal, formulação de informação, voz e articulação, cuja sincronia produz a fala fluente; caso contrário, pode aparecer a disfluência chamada gagueira. Uma das grandes dificuldades do gago adulto é o problema ocupacional. Estudos têm mostrado que a gagueira diminui a empregabilidade do sujeito e a probabilidade de promoção. O objetivo principal do gago deve ser realizar uma comunicação produtiva por meio de um processo terapêutico que o leve a construir um modelo de comunicação no qual a informação se sobreponha a quaisquer outros comportamentos (evitação, fuga e ansiedade).

Otherwise, the defficiency called stuttering may appear. One of the great difficulties of the adult stutterer is the occupational problem. Studies have shown that stutttering diminishes the employability of a person and the probability of promotion. The main objective of the stutterer is to accomplish a productive communication by means of a therapeutic process that will enable him to construct a model of communication in which the information will superpose any other behavior such as avoidance, flight and anxiety.
