摘要：En este artículo se analiza la fecundidad adolescente reciente en la República Argentina con la intención de individualizar a aquellos segmentos de la población de mujeres adolescentes que tienen mayor probabilidad de tener hijos antes de cumplir los 20 años. Para ello se analiza la propensión a ser madre en la adolescencia según distintas variables, tales como el lugar de residencia y de nacimiento, el nivel de educación, la edad y el estado conyugal. Se presta especial atención a la repetición de la maternidad durante la adolescencia y a las madres menores de 15 años. Se discute el efecto de la maternidad en la adolescencia sobre la salud de los hijos. Los datos provienen del Censo Nacional de Población y Vivienda de 2001 y de las estadísticas vitales cercanas a esa fecha.
其他摘要：This article presents an analysis of recent adolescent fertility in Argentina, aiming at the individualization of those segments of the adolescent female population that have a larger probability of having children before age 20. For that purpose, the propensity to become a mother during adolescence is analyzed by place of residence, place of birth, educational level, age, and marital status. Special attention is given to repeated childbirth during adolescence and to mothers below age 15. The effect of adolescence childbirth on the health of the offspring is discussed. The data used are form the National Census of Population and Housing 2001, and from vital statistics close to that date.
