标题：A persistência do fracasso escolar: Desigualdade e ideologia

摘要：Conhecer as questões sociais relacionadas ao fracasso escolar é fundamental para os profi ssionais de Educação, incluindo-se aí aqueles que trabalham com Orientação Profi ssional. O fracasso é objeto de inúmeras discussões e investigações científi cas que buscam compreender e apontar uma solução (defi nitiva) para a questão. Partindo do referencial teórico da Análise do Discurso pêcheutiana, examinamos trabalhos de revisão sobre o tema, procurando identifi car algumas condições históricas e sociais que possibilitaram o surgimento das diversas interpretações sobre o fracasso e a vinculação dessa produção científi ca a determinados interesses de classe. Concluímos que toda tentativa de encontrar uma verdade fi nal sobre as causas do fracasso escolar falha, pois não há teoria que justifi que a dominação e a exploração humana (a luta de classes).
其他摘要：It is essential for those working with Education, including Professional Guiders, to be aware of the issues related to school failure. It has been the object of many discussions and scientifi c investigations, aiming at fi nding an explanation, and a (defi nitive) solution to the problem. Taking the Pêcheutian Discourse Analysis as a point of departure, this article examined works about the topic, trying to identify some historical and social conditions which gave rise to the several interpretations about school failure, as well as the connection between those scientifi c works and class interests. It is concluded that all attempts to fi nd a defi nitive truth about school failure fail, because there is no such theory that justifi es human domination and exploitation (classes struggle).
