摘要：Este artículo describe la situación actual de las universidades latinoamericanas En él se analiza la necesidad de cambio producida por la política universitaria externa y los requerimientos de transformación interna que ello origina. Se considera que este proceso de cambio interno debe hacerse teniendo en cuenta la gramática institucional de .la universidad y posibilitando que la propia comunidad intervenga en la definición del nuevo ethos requerido.
其他摘要：This paper describes the current state of the Latin American universities In him analyzes the necessity of change produced by the external university policy and the requirements of internal transformation that it originates. Part of which this process of internal change must be done considering the institutional grammar of la university and making possible itself that the own community takes part in the definition of new the ethos required.
