摘要:Welcome to this third volume. In recognition of the ever increasing number of global contributions, the name of the journal has been changed to include 'international' in the title, and from this issue onward will be known as the Work Based Learning e-Journal International. The theme for this issue is 'professional doctorates and knowing in practice' and is intended to encourage papers on the relevance of the professional doctorate to knowing in practice. The notion of 'knowing in practice' is meant to highlight knowledge as dynamically emerging from, and embodied in, real world practice and therefore circumscribed by social and organisational contexts, rather than as static assets possessed by individuals
