摘要：An overview of the open source software is made. The security of open source software is taken into discussion. The paper defines the concept of citizen oriented security. This is applied to the open source segment. Open source software is analyzed from the citizen鈥檚 point of view. Ways of transforming the security of open source software in citizen oriented security are presented. Effects of the transformation are identified and described. Future directions for the development of citizen oriented security are highlighted.
