摘要:The regulatory dimensions of time in school have been investigated by the ethnographic approach in classrooms of public schools in Rio de Janeiro State. It was evidenced, in scenes such spaces routine, regulatory strategies of the time the activities of the subject. We presented the time of the processes of teaching and learning, adapted to a chronological time (chronos) and to an opportunity time (kairós). We believe that the time differs from one individual to another, so establishing rules of behavior for all indifferently serve only to maintain control without guarantees of quality in educational processes. In this way, the school space claimed to be thought by the meaning of time as valorization of the knowledge and practices between scholars and teachers.
