摘要：In Vergini suburb, in Naples, survive remains o foureenth-centuy frescoes of various styles. This paper analyzes the technical-historical and artistic features belonging to the Pietro Cavallini manner, to the neo-feudal style diffused during the Ludovico of Angiò’s ten-year-power 1352-1362), but also to an excellent tradition oiginating from Giotto and Maso and attibutable to Roberto d’Odeisio and to Maestro d GiovanniBarrile. The activity of studying and divulgng these pictures is extremely impotant since the frescoes and the fourteenth century Neapolitan great figurative arts decay deprived us of a full knowledge of this fascinatingseason of the Neapolitan art.
