DoD Identifies Navy Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael J. Gray, 32, of Richmond, Va., was killed in an automobile accident March 5 in Kuwait. Gray was traveling to Kuwait Navy Base when his vehicle was struck from the rear by a civilian vehicle.

Gray was assigned to Navy Detachment Kuwait Navy Base.
