I WAS appalled to read how youngsters are treated at the Children's Sports School in Shanghai, China.

Children as young as four are being systematically tortured to the point of exhaustion then left in agony - all for the price of fame.

And only a few of these poor mites will ever achieve the success their teachers strive for.

This abuse has been going on for years in countries such as China and their government must intervene to stop it once and for all.
