5K fun run & walk: Sunday, September 18, 2005

WHEN: Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.; race at 9:30 a.m. Race registration cutoff time will be 9:00 a.m.

WHERE: REVIEW AND HERALD Publishing Association 55 West Oak Ridge Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Take 1-70 to Hagerstown, exit 29. Head north to Oak Ridge Drive (second signal); turn left and go a half mile to Review and Herald property. Follow directions for parking.

AWARDS: A T-shirt and a free one-year subscription to Vibrant Life magazine to all runners and walkers. Trophies and merchandise awards to top overall finishers and top finishers in the following age categories: 10 and under; 11-17; 18-35; 36-45; 46-59; 60 plus. Random merchandise awards will also be given during the awards ceremony.

COURSE: 5K cross-country course around Review and Herald property. Some slight hills. Water will be available on the course.

REGISTRATION FEE: $30 (on or before August 31, 2005); $35 (for entries received September 1-18, 2005).

SPECIAL GROUP RATE: If your group (of 10 or more) registers by August 31, 2005, the registration fee will be $25 per person. (Note: Absolutely no group discounts will be accepted after that date.)
