Ganson Engineering releases version 4.0 of electronic forms-on-demand

Ganson Engineering has just released version 4.0 of their most powerful, easy-to-use electronic forms product to date. Forms-On-Demand, an open systems automated forms printing solution, allows you to completely eliminate pre-printed forms from your operation, regardless of the type of computer system and application software being used.

Forms-On-Demand is an intelligent, printer-resident forms server which continuously monitors the print data stream and applies the correct form to the printed output as the data is printed. The form designs are stored in flash memory and are called up instantly when required for a particular print job. All of this happens transparently to the users, so that absolutely no user training is required. Users need only load the printer with blank paper and send their print jobs; the output will always be on the correct form.

This new capability is made possible by Ganson's proprietary PCL parse engine, which intelligently parses the data stream and decides, on-the-fly, which form, if any goes with each print job as it prints.
