'Mini-Boots' to open at Sainsbury's superstores
JOANNE HARTTWO OF Britain's leading retailers, Boots and Sainsbury's, are teaming up to offer brands such as No 7 and Soltan suncream in Sainsbury's supermarkets.
A trial beginning next March will see mini-Boots outlets opening at six Sainsbury's superstores outside town.
The mini-Boots will offer a range of 10,000 health and beauty products and pharmacies will also be included.
Sainsbury's own health and beauty goods will be scrapped at the six chosen stores.
If the scheme is successful it will be extended to about 100 Sainsbury stores across the country.
Customers will pay for their goods at Sainsbury's and will be able to use their Sainsbury's Reward cards and Boots Advantage cards where appropriate.
