摘要：En este trabajo se exponen, esencialmente, diversos criterios teóricos en relación con la triangulación, desde el punto de vista de la metodología de la investigación. ¿Es procedimiento? ¿Es técnica? ¿Es método? ¿Es correcta su denominación? A todas estas interrogantes se les da respuesta para, al final, defender su carácter de método y, considerar que, quizás debió denominársele, en vez de triangulación, contrastación.
其他摘要：In this work they are exposed, essentially, diverse theoretical approaches in connection with the triangulation, from the point of view of the methodology of the investigation. Is it a procedure? Is it a technical? Is a method? Is their denomination correct? To all these queries they are given answer for, at the end, to defend their character of method and, to consider that, maybe it should named, instead of triangulation, contrastation.
