摘要:Following the International Convention for the Unification of certain Rules relating to Bills of Lading, the 1924 Hague Rules (and Protocol of Signature of that Convention),the Yugoslav Maritime and Inland Navigation Law accepts the institute of 17 groups of excepted perils, the well known risks of marine adventure, for which the carrier is presumed not to be liable and in these cases he would be responsible for damage on the basis of proved fault. Among 9 enumerated excepted perils, the author analyses 2 perils (salvage life or property at sea and deviation),comparing legislative solutions with international conventions (the Hague and Hamburg Rules, the latter have not yet come into effect) and discussing some examples of comparative law.
