标题：Rasgos de personalidad que afectan el desempeño de los profesores de la PUCE matriz en las funciones de docencia e investigación

摘要：El propósito de la presente investigación era conocer los rasgos de personalidad que afectan el desempeño de los profesores universitarios en las funciones de docencia e investigación. Participaron en la investigación 221 profesores a los que se les aplicó el test de personalidad 16 PF-5 para obtener información sobre factores y rasgos de personalidad. Se midió el desempeño en docencia a través de sus resultados en el proceso de evaluación del desempeño docente en el aula, y el desempeño en investigación mediante los datos de su participación en proyectos de investigación y la información sobre sus publicaciones científicas. En cuanto al desempeño como docentes, los resultados señalan que no existe influencia de rasgos o factores de personalidad. Por el contrario, los resultados arrojan una relación significativa (p<0.05) entre el desempeño como investigadores y los rasgos AFABILIDAD (p.= 0.001) y ABSTRACCIÓN (p=0. 001) y en el factor AUTOCONTROL (p.=0 038).
其他摘要：The purpose of this research was to understand the personality traits that affect the performance of university professors in teaching and research functions. Two hundred and twenty-one professors participated in the research; the personality test 16 PF-5 was administered in order to obtain information on factors and personality traits. Teaching performance was measured through their results in the process of evaluation of teaching performance in the classroom, and research performance through data on their participation in research projects and information about their scientific publications. Regarding the performance as teachers, the results indicate that there is no influence of personality traits or factors. On the contrary, the results show a significant relationship (p <0.05) between their performance as researchers and the traits AFFABILITY (p = 0.001) and ABSTRACTION (p = 0.001), as well as in the SELF-CONTROL factor (p = 0.038).
