摘要：This paper discusses the place and role of metallurgical clusters in the development of environmental engineering. The paper is based on research materials on the development of environmental engineering and the features of the functioning of metallurgical clusters. The paper studies the development of ferrous metallurgy, development trends, and developmental features of city-forming organizations of ferrous metallurgy. The main existing areas for development of metallurgical clusters and the relevance of environmental engineering development are shown.
