摘要:The paper briefly presents the results of experimenta l resea rch on the influence of using zinc hot dip ga lvanized rebar on the durability of reinforced concrete.For this purpose,the loss of adherence between the reba r and the concrete matrix was determined,as well as the reduction of resista nce to splitting due to accelerated corrosion of samples of hot dip galvanized rebar vs.steel not protected against corrosion.Using electrochemica l a nalysis techniques (chrono-a mperometry,linear polariza tion,electrochemical impeda nce spectroscopy) the kinetics a nd mecha nism of the corrosion of the reba r in the reinforced concrete due to the action of chlorine ions was studied.The results prove a lower speed a nd better resistance to corrosion of yinc hot dip galvanized reba r,leading to an increased lifetime of reinforced concrete structures.
