摘要：The article analyses basic trends in the contemporary cultural leisure activity of ethnographic parks of Kyiv, namely the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life “Pyrohiv”, the Centre of Folk Studies “Mamaieva Sloboda”, the Ethnographic Complex “Ukrainske Selo”, the Ethnographic Museum “Khutir Savky”, and the Centre of Culture and History “Park Kyivska Rus”. It is stated that Kyiv’s ethnographic parks possess a polyvariant nature, organizing recreational and entertainment, as well as cultural and educational activities, in addition to providing events for active rest lovers. It is thus concluded that Kyiv’s ethnographic parks not only preserve and reproduce the architecture, lifestyle and customs of the past, but also retranslate the values of the Ukrainian nation and present themselves as creators of a new culture based upon the traditions of the olden days.
