摘要：The patterns of political interactions,when applied for a long time,may preserve models of relationships between the politicians and citizens. The article presents the determinants of the antagonistic style of making politics in Poland with a particular consideration of the situation after the presidential plane crash in Smoleńsk in April 2010. There are at least four such factors: the lack of a rational and constructive criticism on the part of the citizens,the lack of the tradition of political consensus,the structure of the political scene and the subject matter of the disputes. The theses given in the second part are illustrated by the examples of statements made by politicians in the election campaign of 2010.
