摘要：A presente pesquisa tem como orientação principal a arte urbana no centro histórico das cidades médias, especificamente, analisando o grafite e as nuances de suas manifestações no corpo urbano da cidade de Araraquara. Este artigo apresentará o trabalho desenvolvido pelos pesquisadores durante um ano de pesquisa acadêmica. A arte urbana é, notavelmente, matéria de inúmeros estudos no campo das Ciências Humanas de forma geral, entretanto, há certa hesitação, por parte dos pesquisadores brasileiros, em analisar as dinâmicas sociais impostas às cidades médias, que representam boa parcela dos municípios brasileiros, neste rol, estão incluídos também os estudos sobre arte urbana no espaço dessas cidades. Deste modo, tivemos como fio condutor e instigador a necessidade de compreender algumas das dinâmicas impostas a estes espaços, que, sobretudo, são espaços em disputa, disputa pelos mercados locais, pela população, mercado imobiliário, setor público, e a própria arte. Nesta dinâmica é fundamental analisar como a arte urbana sobrevive, como é capaz de alterar significados e imprimir marcas nos indivíduos num urbano em disputa.
其他摘要：This research has as main orientation the urban art in the historical center of the medium cities, specifically, analyzing the graffiti and the nuances of its manifestations in the urban body of the city of Araraquara. This article will present the work developed by researchers during one year of academic research. Urban art is, notably, the subject of countless studies in the field of the Humanities in general, however, there is some hesitation on the part of Brazilian researchers to analyze the social dynamics imposed on medium-sized cities, which represent a good portion of Brazilian municipalities. This list also includes studies on urban art in the space of these cities. Thus, we had as a guiding and instigating thread the need to understand some of the dynamics imposed on these spaces, which, above all, are disputed spaces, disputed by local markets, by the population, real estate market, public sector, and art itself. In this dynamic it is essential to analyze how urban art survives, how it is able to change meanings and imprint marks on individuals in a disputed urban.
