摘要:The colorimetric error depends on the spectrophotometric inaccuracy. In this paper, a new method is introduced for determining the relationship between spectrophotometric error and colorimetric inaccuracy. The error propagation in colorimetric parameter calculation is evaluated using a linear relation between variance of reflectance spectra and CIE tristimulus values. This linear formula calculates the variance of CIE tristimulus values from the variance of reflectance spectra with sufficient accuracy. In addition, the effect of illuminants and standard colorimetric observers on the error propagation from spectral data into CIE tristimulus values is studied using the proposed relationship. The results indicate that the effect of illuminants is more than the effect of standard observer. In addition, the Standard deviation of CIE tristimulus values depends on their respective coefficients.
