摘要:Growing up on a wheat farm in Dayton, Wash., TracyHanger envisioned a career as a veterinarian.Graduating from Dayton High School in 2000, sheearned a bachelor’s degree in animal science fromWashington State University (WSU). Having already discoveredthat performing surgery on animals was not herforte, Hanger found employment on a beef cattle feedlot.That summer, she went back home to work harvest withher dad, and she realized just how much she missed workingin small grains production.
