摘要：Preliminary results from the November general electionindicate that Democrats will maintain and significantly increase their majorities in the state Senate and state Houseof Representatives for the 2019 Legislative Session. Based on election results available at the time of publication, Democrats increased their majority in the Housefrom 50 to 57 and from 25 to 28 in the Senate. The balanceof power is now 57 Democrats to 41 Republicans in theHouse and 28 Democrats to 21 Republicans in the Senate.However, there are a few races that are extremely closeand subject to mandatory recounts.
