  • 摘要:They say that what goes around comes around, andthat’s certainly true in Eric Stucky’s case.Stucky grew up in a Kansas wheat farming family, butended up as a physician in Spokane. After retiring frommedicine, he’s found himself back in the farming businessas a landlord for 250 acres in Whitman County, as well ashelping to manage his family’s two farms in Montana andKansas.“Most of my farm time was spent on my grandfather’sfarm,” Stucky said. “I went to college, got a civil engineering degree and ended up in medicine. I can’t say there wasa point where I decided not to farm, but I wasn’t a farmer.”Stucky and his wife, Deborah, arrived in Spokane inthe late 1970s. About a decade ago, they decided to investin some land locally. Meanwhile, back in Montana andKansas, the family’s land was passing from generation togeneration, finally landing on Stucky’s doorstep.“Because of deaths in the family, I’m now the patriarch, Iguess you’d say,” he explained.
