标题：Simbolismo cinegético y agrario de los sacrificios guerreros entre los Mayas de Yucatán durante el postclásico

摘要：En este artículo se pretende aportar información relacionada con el simbolismo guerrero de los sacrificios humanos durante el Posclásico entre los mayas de Yucatán. Se recurrió al análisis de fuentes arqueológicas, visuales y documentales, y al uso de diversas herramientas metodológicas como la iconografía y la hermenéutica del simbolismo religioso. Se establece que los sacrificios humanos seguían el modelo de la caza, pero integran algunos aspectos del simbolismo agrario; asimismo, los sacrificios manifiestan un ejercicio de poder que hace referencia a una sociedad organizada en torno a la agricultura y la caza, pero que colocó en primer plano la guerra y el comercio.
其他摘要：This article aims to understand the warrior symbolism of human sacrifices during the post-classic period among the Yucatec Mayans. The paper builds on the analysis of archaeological, visual, and documentary sources, which required the use of several methodological tools such as iconography and the hermeneutics of religious symbolism. We conclude that human sacrifices follow the model of hunting, but integrate some aspects of agrarian symbolism. The sacrifices involved an exercise of a society’s soft power organized around agriculture and hunting, yet simultaneously giving priority to warfare and trade.
