其他摘要：Appropriate canopy management by pruning supported with fertilizer application under different growing condition of siliviculture system can obtain large number of branches (sprouts) for maximum production of fruits. The main objective of this study was to increase the number of sprouts (branches) so as to optimize flowering and fruiting through silviculture. Treatment T10 showed better result in terms of growth parameters like height, collar diameter, number of sprouts, number of flowering branches and length & breadth of canopy. It could be due to the treatment consisting of fertilizers (Urea, DAP, MoP) which is considered to be ideal for effective healthy plants that showed better performance. Also it is important to prune the plant after it has attained a minimum vegetative growth as in this case of Treatment 10.KEY WORD: Fertilizer, Pruning, Jatropha curcas, Branches, Fruits.
