摘要：O estudo em questão objetiva analisar a constituição da rede de interesse ou política que responde pela promoção da soja na localidade de Pedro Afonso, no Tocantins. Atores como Cargill, Bunge, Coapa, Prefeitura, produtores, sindicatos e organização internacional formam uma trama de interesses diversos que convergem para tornar Pedro Afonso na capital da soja do Tocantins.
