摘要：Our paper glosses upon some important terms of the contemporary metadiscourses: genre / type / sequence, narrative / descriptive. The aim of the our theoretical excourse is to discriminate the syntactic organization of the narrative and descriptive sequences and discuss their specific functions and forms of textual collaboration.
