摘要：La deformación artificial del cráneo constituye un tema de interés por su significación para inferir influencias e interacciones sociales.Reuniendo toda la información disponible en la actualidad, 2.753 casos relevados en el Norte de Chile y en el N.O.Argentino (3000 AC-1450 DC), se analiza la distribución de distintos tipos deformatorios desde el punto de vista espacial y temporal, mediante cuentas, proporciones y pruebas estadísticas basadas en la distribución χ 2 .Se pudieron establecer perfiles característicos a nivel regional y subregional.En el N.O.Argen- tino son mayoría los tabulares, dominando los tabulares oblicuos, con una escasa existencia de circulares, mientras que en el Norte de Chile, si bien la proporción de tabulares es alta, es mayor la presencia de deformación circular.Las diferencias comprobadas se basan en la combinación de los tipos y en la variación de la popularidad de cada uno de ellos, dominando uno u otro, de norte a sur y desde zonas marítimas a continentales.
其他摘要：Artificial skull deformation is a subject of significant interest to infer social influences and interactions. Considering all the available information at present, 2,753 cases from northern Chile and northwestern Argentina (3000 BC - 1450 AD), the distribution of different deformation types is analyzed from the spatial and temporal point of view, using accounts, proportions and statistical tests based on the distribution χ 2 . Characteristic profiles at regional and subregional levels could be established. In the northwest Argentina, the tabular outnumber the rest, domined by oblique tabular, with a scarce presence of circular deformation; while in the northern Chile, though the proportion of tabular is high, the presence of circular deformation is greater. The differences found are based on the combination of the deformation types and on the variation of the popularity of each, dominated by one or the other, from north to south and from the coast to the interior continent.
