摘要：The article discusses the educational reforms in Latin America in the 1990s. It is not intended to present new data, but rather to dialogue with the literature pertinent to the theme, showing how education has served the interests of the restricted accumulation of capital more than provided human emancipation. First, reforms and neoliberal economic policies are examined such as subsidies to try to understand how education contributed to the legitimation of the new social context. Next, educational reforms are discussed through the management and decentralization of education, the financigand and structuring of educational systems, mechanisms for assessment and curriculum.
