摘要：The analysis of societal implications of surveillance technologies has amplified over the past two decades. However, a review of literature suggests that surveillance-and-society studies have overlooked clandestine mechanisms that permit theft of data through electro-magnetic radiations from offline computer screens and the use of see-through-wall technologies. The purpose of this paper is to draw attention to these surreptitious techniques, their misuse on racialized populations, and implications for privacy that is at the core of human dignity and civilized society.
