摘要：In the first part of the article the author describes the importance ofphysical activity, leisure, physical recreation and rest in human life.Subsequently, the author draws attention to the importance of modern hotelbases with wide recreational infrastructure in increasing the number of hotelguests and the aspect of physical recreation in the local society. The researchpresented in this article refers to the period from 01.01.1999 to 31.12.2012 inwhich there was a rapid development in hotel infrastructure and recreation inWarmian-Masurian Voivodeship and which had a significant impact on tourismdevelopment, recreation and physical activity of visitors and residents of theanalyzed region.
