摘要：The pervasive use of information technology has significantly altered many aspects of life - in banking and commerce, work and employment, medical care, national defence, transportation and entertainment. Consequently, information technology affects (in both good and bad ways) community life, family life, human relationships, education, freedom, democracy, and many more. The amount of time and the types of activities that children engage in while using computers are key factors influencing whether computer technology has positive or negative effects on their development.
