摘要：Throughout California, cities are using high-tech tools to help keep residents safer. When technology became more readily available a few decades ago, only the largest or wealthiest cities could afford to modernize and enhance their public safety systems. But as high-tech tools have become increasingly affordable, more cities are using them as part of delivering public safety services. These tools aren’t just cool gadgets but have made a substantial difference in how rapidly police and fire departments are able to respond to residents as well as solve and prevent crime. California cities are using technology in different ways to meet their local communities’ unique needs.
