The methodology was exploratory and descriptive, using questionnaires applied to teachers. Among the results, we identified the main symptoms of emotional exhaustion reported by teachers in terms of dealing with uncertainty, insecurity, dissatisfaction and anxiety about having to adapt to a new routine. The relationship between work and family, the need for rapid and continuous adaptation, the centrality of content and education for families who become evaluators of teaching practice can also cause fatigue. Regarding the use of digital tools, all teachers reported that they had difficulties adapting to new technologies. One of the biggest concerns of two teachers also included a gap in learning for two students, as most of these students do not have access to the internet, do not participate in remote classrooms for various reasons. We conclude by reaffirming the importance of thinking about actions that promote the teacher's mental health, new times that still require adaptation and reinvention.
