摘要：Identification of environmental risks inherent to the hospital cleaning activity in the surgical center of the Itapuranga Municipal Hospital, with the objective of improving existing measures and promoting the health and safety of workers. Through a qualitative study, with quantitative aspects, carried out through questionnaires, it was possible to characterize the profile of these workers. It was observed that: 65% of the workers are women, 78% have low schooling, 76% said that the work affected their health, 38% said they had health problems already diagnosed by the doctor, 33.33% mentioned the use of individual protection equipment (IEP). Professionals in the area of hospital cleaning services constitute a population quite susceptible to occupational accidents, so the risks must be analyzed, aiming at their elimination or control, to improve the standard of living and health of workers.
