摘要：AbstractIn recent years, globalization, economic changes and technological development that have appeared in today’s industrial world, oblige companies and industries to be more responsive, to satisfy and meet all the needs of the market, and adapt to the evolution of their customers. This is why forecasting demand is crucial issue for business performance. In this article, we have described the different forecasting methods and their use based on the literature, then a case study was initiated in a company in the agri-food sector specializing in ice production where we aim to optimize costs in average horizon and find the optimal forecast for this type of product taking into account sales histories.
