  • 摘要:Ship-based boats are very important for search and rescue, or patrol. Today, various countries have ships with stem boat deployment system. Comparing to the conventional side launching system, the Stem boat deployment system can reduce the time needed for boat launch from mother ship and recovery to mother ship in case of emergencies. But existing stem boat deployment systems can be operated only in calm sea, and at low speed of mother ship. So, we tried to develop the new stem boat deployment and recovery system in case of the well-dock type. We invented a new system and carried out experiments in towing tank for confirmation. And we succeeded in improvement of the conventional system. New system can launch and recover the ship-based boat at high speed, and even in waves.
