摘要:AbstractThis study aims at assessing EFL teacher trainees’ type of thinking in terms of brain lateralization, as well as their perceptions towards developing students’ creativity during the English classes. I admistered two questionnaires, first aimed at identifying teacher trainees’ type of thinking, and another one at assessing students’ perceptions concerning teaching methodology that fosters creativity in the language classes, and the degree of effectiveness they see in using such methods. Our research unveiled that EFL teacher trainees displayed a higher percentage of right hemisphere activity. As for the second questionnaire, some of the trainees seemed rather reluctant to use creativity-conducive methodology, displaying distrust in their usefulness in the process of language learning.
