摘要：O registro geral animal (RGA) é um mecanismo de controle de dados de cães e gatos e de seus respectivos proprietários que tem sido implantado e utilizado em alguns centros de controle de zoonoses do Brasil. Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar a implantação e aceitação pela população do sistema de registro geral com identificação não permanente e por método eletrônico (microchip), no Município de Ibiúna -SP. Foram avaliados dados referentes a um período de 12 meses, após o lançamento do programa de posse responsável e aprovação de legislação municipal específica sobre a obrigatoriedade do RGA. Desenvolveu-se um sistema de informação de controle de zoonoses para gerência das informações. A microchipagem não foi obrigatória. Foram registrados 982 animais, sendo 89,61% cães e 10,39 % gatos. O número de registros não foi uniforme durante o período estudado, pois não houve interesse da população em fazer a microchipagem. Novas técnicas de abordagem sobre a obrigatoriedade do RGA e sobre a importância da implantação de microchip devem ser estudadas para conscientizar a população e obter um número maior de animais registrados..
其他摘要：Animal register (RGA) is a mechanism of data control for dogs and cats and their respective owners which has been set up and utilized in some zoonosis control centers of Brazil. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the implementation of the animal register system by non-permanent identification and by electronic method (microchip) in the county of Ibiúna- SP and also its acceptance by population. Data referring to 12 months were evaluated, just after the approval of a municipal specific legislation about the mandatory of registration and a campaign of responsible ownership. An information system on zoonosis control organizing the informations was developed. The microchip was not mandatory. There were 982 animal registered, being 89.61% dogs and 10.39 % cats. The number of registers was not uniform during the period of this work. The population showed no interest in microchip. New techniques of approaching about the responsibility of RGA and the importance of the microchip must be studied to reach the owners in order to get a major number of animals registered.
