摘要：Resumen Este texto analiza las lógicas del poder en la ciudad utilizando como metáforas una serie de acercamientos de la biología y la neurología. Así, se identifican las lógicas del poder como dominación (potestas en lo urbano) con los componentes reptilianos y corticales de nuestro cerebro. A su vez, se vinculan las lógicas relacionales del poder (potencia de lo urbano) con los componentes límbicos del cerebro mamífero. Un cerebro mamífero que establece relaciones de cooperación y empatía con miembros de su propia especie. Esta última lógica se corresponde con el acercamiento habermasiano al mundo de la vida. Por el contrario, las dos anteriores se concretan en la colonización de este mundo de la vida por el sistema político (poder reptiliano) y por el sistema económico (lógica cortical del dinero). Abstract This text approaches the logics of power within the city by using metaphors originated in the fields of biology and neurology. Thus, the logics of power as domination (potestas in the urban space) will be identified with reptilian and brain cortical components. At the same time, the relational logics of power (potential of the urban) will be linked with the limbic components of the mammalian brain; a mammalian brain that establishes cooperative relations and empathy with members of its own species. This latter logic corresponds to the Habermasian approach on the world view (Weltanschauung). On the contrary, the previous two logics become specific in the colonization of this world view by the political system (reptilian power) and the economic system (cortical logic of money).
