摘要：The first edition of the CASPUR Summer School for Advanced Computing took place from August 29 to September 9th, 2005, in the ENI meeting center in the beautiful surroundings of Castel Gandolfos lake. The school has been invented to further increase the knowledge and the necessary techniques in order to use complex computing systems in the most efficient way. A lot of real applications have been presented through the talks of famous researchers like A. Quarteroni, T. Mattson, J. Larson et al.
