摘要：O estudo em questão objetiva analisar a constituição da rede de interesse ou política que responde pela promoção da soja na localidade de Pedro Afonso, no Tocantins. Atores como Cargill, Bunge, Coapa, Prefeitura, produtores, sindicatos e organização internacional formam uma trama de interesses diversos que convergem para tornar Pedro Afonso na capital da soja do Tocantins. Palavras-chave: rede política; soja, Pedro Afonso (TO). ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the constitution of a network of interests or policies that results in the promotion of soybean production in Pedro Afonso, in the state of Tocantins. International and local players, such as Cargill, Bunge, Coapa, the local municipal government, producers, unions and international organizations all weave a blanket of different interests that come together to make Pedro Afonso the soybean capital of the state of Tocantins.
