摘要：Encara que les situacions monoparentals han estat presents al llarg de tota la història , el concepte que s'utilitza en l'actualitat per referir-s'hi és relativament nou , ja que fins ben entrada la segona meitat del segle xx no es van donar les condicions socials i estructurals necessàries perquè aparegués . Però, quines van ser aquestes condicions especials que van possibilitar el naixement del terme monoparentalitat ? Quins altres conceptes s'empraven fins aquell moment ? Aquesta expressió continuarà existint durant les pròximes dècades o , per contra , anirà patint canvis ? Si és així , en quina direcció aniran aquests canvis ? Atenent aquestes qüestions , en aquest article es fa una anàlisi sobre l'evolució que ha anat experimentant , al llarg del segle xx , la terminologia emprada per referir-se a les avui conegudes com famílies monoparentals , parant una atenció especial al context sociohistòric en què es va originar aquest terme i al futur fins ara incert que l'espera .
其他摘要：Although single-parent families have existed throughout history, the concept that we currently use to refer to them is relatively recent as the social and structural conditions necessary for its existence did not arise until the second half of the 20th century. But what were these special conditions that made the coining of the term ‘single parenthood’ possible? What concepts were used up to that moment? Will this expression exist over the next decades or, on the contrary, will it undergo changes and in what direction will these changes go? To answer these questions, in this paper we analyze the evolution of the terminology used to designate single-parent families during the 20th century, paying special attention to the sociohistorical context in which the term originated and its yet unknown future.
