摘要:This text tries to accomplish a theoretical balance concerning the contemporary society, focusing the behavior of some professions in the past and in the future, suggesting the need of "an archaeology of labor". The extinction of professions evidences a society in movement and in transition. There, the social characters are shown indefinite, mixed and amalgamated, hindering the sociological characterization. In this article, we try to stand out some important manifestations of the subjectivity in the adopted strategies, by the social character to continue surviving and the possibilities and arrangements that are unchained, starting from the objective metamorphoses in the context of labor. We also try to apprehend the context of the needs that generate certain professions as indispensable, but that in the subsequent moi nent deprives them, turning them unnecessary. Does that movement of extinclion of work posts and of professions mean the end of a social period? The end of the salaried work? Between the extinction of a profession and the emergency of other, we notice the (im)+pact of technological innovations that mold and redefine the social. The myth of to innovation mixes up with the submisson of the work force. The new actions in the work do not only answer to the technical needs, but, fundamentally, to the social control and the discipline of the work force. The myth of innovation suggests a historical reflection concerning the contradictory potentialities of the informational revolution.
